BJP deceiving farmers, Congress will provide higher MSP: Randeep Surjewala

Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala criticized the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government and the central governments for their handling of farmer-related issues. Surjewala alleged that the state government conveyed that the support price for crops was higher than what was announced by the Centre. He also questioned the meagre allocations for the Bhavantar Yojana and highlighted the problems faced by farmers due to increased prices of diesel, seed, and electricity. Surjewala promised higher support prices for wheat and rice, as well as exemptions for certain farmers. Madhya Pradesh will go to polls next month.
