Oldest seat of power in Gujarat to house India's biggest seat of Jainism studies

Panchasar village in Gujarat is set to become India's largest center for Jainism studies. The Shrut Ratnakar Adhyayan Kendra, a center for Indological studies, will be built on a 30-acre site and aims to produce scholars who can impart knowledge of the 2,500-year-old religion worldwide. The center will house a repository of 60,000 books and manuscripts on Jainism and will offer courses in various subjects including Jain philosophy, modern science, and languages. The project has received contributions from Jains living abroad, with Dr. Jasvant Modi actively involved.
