Renaming Lansdowne: Locals say no, 'will harm tourism'

Nearly four months after Lansdowne Cantonment proposed changing the name of the board to 'Jaswantgarh' -- after 1962 Sino-Indian war hero Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat -- the district administration met stakeholders on Monday to see if they agreed on renaming the town after first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat.
