On a day the Narendra Modi government observed the 'Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas' (Partition Horrors Remembrance Day), a day ahead of the Independence Day, in the memory of those who were killed, displaced or adversely affected due to the Partition of India in 1947, Union petroleum, natural gas, housing and urban affairs minister Hardeep Singh Puri shared his personal anecdote on how his family suffered the holocaust.
