Heavy rains batter region; Himachal Pradesh worst affected as landslides wreak havoc

As heavy rains continued to pound several parts of north India on Sunday, they disrupted power and water supply schemes, triggered flash floods and landslides and snapped road and rail links, leaving people stranded in several areas.
