Beedi worker who donated his life savings to Covid relief dies in Kerala

Chaladan Janardhanan (65), the beedi worker from Kannur who set a model in benevolence by giving all his life savings of over Rs 2 lakh to the CM's distress relief fund during the Covid-19 'vaccine challenge', passed away after fainting at his house at Kuruva around Wednesday midnight.
