Dead men working and paid too: CAG report on MGNREGS in Punjab

A Comptroller and Auditor General of India report tabled in the Punjab assembly on Tuesday.has flagged multiple gaps in the implementation of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in Punjab by "employing dead persons, fraudulent payments and fictitious works to lack of planning and inefficient financial management".
