Punjab drug menace: Village defence committees 'eyes, ears of Fazilka district administration'

Terming the border village defence committees (VDCs) as the “eyes and the ears” of the Fazilka district administration, the Punjab authorities on Thursday asked them to play "proactive role in aiding efforts to eradicate drug menace".
