At 95.8%, JEE(M) January session sees all-time high attendance

The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2023 January session registered an all-time high candidates’ appearance record registering 95.8% attendance. Of the total of 8,60,058 aspirants for the Paper 1 (BE/ BTech programmes), 8,23,850 sat for the computer-based exam based on which admissions for the centrally funded technical institutions like the NITs and IIITs takes place, as well as the top 20% of the merit list become eligible to sit for the JEE (Advanced)— the entrance test for the IITs.
