The death trap pillars of Bengaluru

In a horrific tragedy, a 28-year-old woman and her two-and-a-half-year-old son were killed, while her spouse and daughter sustained injuries after a reinforcement cage made of iron rods for the construction of an 18-metre-tall Namma Metro pillar crashed on the bike-borne family at HBR Layout, near Hennur Cross on Outer Ring Road.
