Poachers butcher leopard cub in Punjab, mom feared dead

A leopard cub of 6-8 months was found dead having suffered gunshot wounds near Nikku Nangal village on Tuesday evening following a tip-off to the Punjab Forests and Wildlife Preservation department by a wildlife conservationist. The mother and sibling of the dead cub are missing from that jungle and it is feared they have met the same fate.
