Court pulls diktat barring lawyers 'arranging' hair

A Pune court last week put up a notice barring women lawyers from "arranging" their hair in the open courts as it "disturbed" the court's functioning, but it was withdrawn quietly after a couple days following protests against it on social media, including senior counsel Indira Jaising who said: "Wow now look! Who is distracted by women advocates and why."
