Seek God’s forgiveness, ulemas tell Muslim bhajan singer

A Muzaffarnagar-based Muslim woman singer, a former 'Indian Idol' contestant, has drawn the ire of Deoband ulemas for singing a Shiva bhajan that was a hit in this year's kanwar yatra. But 30-year-old Farmani Naz has stood her ground and said she sees nothing wrong in doing what she's good at, more so as it helps her get additional money that she can use for her ailing son.
