UP police chief Mukul Goel removed for 'neglecting work'

The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday shunted out police chief Mukul Goel for "neglecting his work", an official statement said.Goel has been appointed the Director General (DG) of the civil defence department.The statement added that Goel was removed from the post of DGP for neglecting official work and not taking interest in departmental work.
