After French Rafales, American F/A-18 fighters to demonstrate their capabilities to Indian Navy

Ahead of the slated commissioning of the country’s indigenous aircraft carrier (IAC) in August this year, it’s now the turn of the US Navy’s F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter jet to showcase its capabilities to the Indian Navy. The IAF has already inducted 35 of the 36 Rafales, contracted under the Rs 59,000 crore deal inked with France in September 2016, with a squadron each being deployed at Ambala and Hasimara.
