JNU gets first woman vice chancellor; row erupts over old tweets, 2008 & 2009 inquiries

Jawaharlal Nehru University got its first woman vice chancellor with the appointment of Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, an ex-student and political science professor at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), on Monday. Pandit, 59, will have a tenure of five years.
