Kerala: Kannur University rejigs syllabus, includes Mohammed Ali Jinnah, EMS Namboodiripad, Periyar EV Ramasamy

Kannur University has approved the revised syllabus of the third semester MA Governance and Politics course which has retained the writings of Hindutva ideologies VD Savarkar and MS Golwalkar while also adding topics pertaining to the political thought of Mohammed Ali Jinnah, Abul Kalam Azad and EMS Namboodiripad. The writings of Sangh Parivar ideologues Deendayal Upadhyaya and Balraj Madhok were dropped in the revised syllabus.
