Back in early 90s, I once told a Pakistani national after gazal program, that I live in protection of 80 crore Hindu and in 1992 when communal tension was simmering, our doors of house lawn were opened every morning at 5 am for Hindu daughters to pluck flowers for offering to holy deity in nearby temple.”
