Jharkhand: Wanted Maoist turns up for Covid-19 test at Chatra hospital, arrested

A wanted Maoist was arrested on Friday evening after he turned up for a Covid-19 test at the sadar hospital in Chatra district, police said on Saturday. SP Rishav Kumar Jha said police arrested Manish Yadav, who was involved in planting landmines to attack security forces in in 2015, after receiving a tip-off. Yadav, a resident of Dumarwar village under Kunda police station of the district, was sent to jail on Saturday after his test returned a negative result.
