Bengal elections 2021: Exodus continues, two-term MLA resigns from Trinamool Congress

Trinamool Congress’s two-term Diamond Harbour MLA, Dipak Haldar, quit the party on Monday, marking the first major desertion in party leader Abhishek Banerjee’s Lok Sabha constituency. Ten TMC MLAs have so far defected to BJP since December in the run-up to polls.
