Supreme Court irked with government work on Central Vista amid petitions

The Supreme Court on Monday expressed displeasure over the Centre going ahead with the Central Vista project despite the matter being in court and judgment reserved on pleas seeking scrapping of the plan. The court though allowed the foundation-laying programme after the government assured that no construction will be carried out without the court’s approval.
