Covid social service must for mask rule breach: Gujarat HC

Gujarat has become the first state where people found not wearing mask or violating social distancing norms to curb Covid-19 spread will be mandated to offer community service in Covid-19 centres as penalty. The Gujarat HC on Wednesday directed the state government to introduce a policy making this punishment mandatory for people violating norms in public places.
