Coronavirus: Active cases decline for 5th straight day

Active cases fell by more than 6,000 on Wednesday, continuing with the trend of discharges outnumbering fresh cases for the past five days. Since November 27, active cases have dipped by nearly 33,000, signalling that the fear of a second wave of the pandemic post Diwali in the wake of festival rush is yet to come true.
