PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti to be released from detention, says J&K administration

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti who has been in detention since August last year is being released, J&K administration spokesperson Rohit Kansal said on Tuesday. She was initially detained on August 5 last year when the Centre abrogated special status of the erstwhile state and bifurcated it into two union territories — Ladakh, and Jammu and Kashmir.
