Lok Sabha adjourns for one hour

As soon as the House met for the day at 3pm, Speaker Om Birla mentioned Rao's death and paid tributes to him. The members stood in silence for a brief duration as a mark of respect. The Speaker then adjourned the proceedings till 4 pm.
