Fresh Covid-19 cases in Delhi fall below 1,000 for 1st time in 49 days

The daily count of Covid-19 cases in the city dropped to three figures for the first time in 49 days on Monday, with 954 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours. Before this, Delhi had last recorded a daily count in three figures on June 1 when 990 new cases were recorded. Thereafter, daily cases started increasing, with the highest single-day spike of 3,947 cases on June 24.
