Mother of unarmed man slain by Park Police officers calls on Congress to require body cameras

“Bijan deserves justice and transparency,” Kelly Ghaisar told the House Natural Resources Committee’s Oversight and Investigations subcommittee. Her 25-year-old son was fatally shot by two U.S. Park Police officers in Virginia in 2017. Park Police do not use body-worn or in-car cameras.
