Major tech companies like Apple, Google, Facebook, and Amazon may be required to share customer data with smaller rivals, should the European Union's Digital Services Act pass.

The Digital Services Act is designed to curb anticompetitive behavior by major tech companies like Apple, Amazon, Facebook, and Google. It would mark the first significant overhaul to the EU's standards for regulating the internet in two decades.One proposed measure would be to force larger companies to share customer data with their smaller competitors.
