Jeff Bezos to sell 50 million shares of Amazon by Jan 31 next year: Report

According to a company filing on Friday, Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.com, plans to sell 50 million shares in the online retail and cloud services company over the course of the next year. At the current share price of $172.13, this amounts to securities valued at $8.6 billion. The sale plan is set to be concluded by January 31 of the following year.
