ImagineAR secures seventh US patent; sees client activity ramp up in latest corporate update

ImagineAR Inc (CSE:IP) (OTCQB:IPNFF) (FRA:GMS1), an augmented reality (AR) company that enables businesses, sports teams and organizations to create instant AR mobile campaigns, has released a corporate update touting the publishing of its seventh US patent, the progress of various AR initiatives and more.  The patent, “Systems and Methods for Creating and Delivering Augmented Reality Content,” was officially published on May 4. It relates to systems and methods to create portable AR content that can be downloaded, rendered and displayed on a display device in real-time.  ImagineAR’s roster of clients has been busy. The custom graphics company SlapItOn recently launched AR promotional Initiatives with two teams in the Indoor Football League, the Minnesota Blizzard and the Arizona Rattlers. READ: ImagineAR to be granted its seventh US patent next month Meanwhile, Shoppers Drug Mart, in partnership with HumanContact Inc, plans to deliver another interactive and immersive AR training session with its custom white-label mobile app this month. Additionally, Valencia CF, Real Sociedad, Club Atletico Mineiro, Liquid Avatar are all expected to be live this month with the newest release of the ImagineAR SDK (software development kit) integrated into their mobile apps. White-Label mobile apps for World Tens Rugby, Global Sports Initiatives, Automotive Industries Publication, Black Voice Foundation and HumanConnect are in development and are expected to be released by Summer 2021, the company said. ImagineAR is also continuing to work with the Hype Sports Global Accelerator Program where its technology was selected by 18 sports teams, leagues and broadcasters including the NHL’s Vegas Knights, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Rogers Communications, the MLB’s Philadelphia Phillies, FC Koln and others. Company representatives have met directly with all 18 partners in the last few weeks to discuss potential proofs of concept, licensing agreements and technology capabilities. Lastly, ImagineAR announced that more than 4.3 million warrants it had issued, have been exercised for gross proceeds of nearly $1.1 million.
