Predictiv AI Inc (CVE:PAI) (OTCMKTS:INOTF) (FRA:71TA) announced that it has received orders for 28 of its ThermalPass units over the past two weeks, which are scheduled to be installed before the end of December 2020. The company said the majority of these units were ordered by a Canadian provincial government, US public schools and several hospitals. "We are very excited with the initial bookings as they represent verticals that are innately scalable," Predictiv AI CEO Michael Lende said in a statement. He added: "We are also cognizant and encouraged that these orders are formative in nature and have the potential to be significantly upsized. In tandem with our reseller agents, the ThermalPass sales focus has been targeting the most scalable sectors, and we are now getting traction in some of the largest market segments, including hospitals, schools, and long-term care facilities among others. We continue to actively market ThermalPass with multiple demos daily across Canada, the US and internationally." Investors responded well, sending Predective AI shares nearly 13% higer to C$0.215 in Canada and up more than 23% to US$0.18 on the OTC Markets. ThermalPass was developed to lessen the spread of COVID-19 in high-traffic locations by using thermal medical grade sensors to take 1,200 temperature readings per second, which allows for individual privacy and adherence to social distancing protocols. The system allows for 60 people per minute to pass through and requires no recalibrations once set up, with assembly and disassembly expected to take less than 10 minutes. Predictiv AI, which is committed to using its expertise to accelerate artificial intelligence (AI) innovation as it advances AI and machine learning solutions, announced in October 2020 that it had installed its first ThermalPass temperature screening system in North America at a trucking company, Anderson Haulage, based in Ontario, Canada.
