The parent company of Regal Cinemas, the second-largest movie theater chain in the U.S., is suspending operations at all of its locations in the U.S. starting Thursday. The cinema chain has locations in six Bay Area cities — San Francisco (Stonestown), Oakland, Berkeley, Dublin, San Ramon and Santa Cruz — and has 85 locations in California overall, its largest footprint for any U.S. state.
