Matador Mining strengthens board with appointment of experienced mining executive

Matador Mining Ltd (ASX:MZZ) has strengthened its team with the appointment of experienced Canadian-based mining executive Dr Nicole Adshead-Bell as a non-executive director. Based in Vancouver, Canada, Adshead-Bell has had a successful career spanning over 24 years and brings technical, funds management and financial expertise to the board. Most recently, she was managing director and CEO of Beadell Resources Ltd prior to its acquisition by Great Panther Mining Ltd (TSE:GPR) (NYSEAMERICAN:GPL) and before this was director of mining research at Sun Valley Gold LLC. She is also a non-executive director of First Majestic Silver Corp (TSE:FR) (NYSE:AG), one of the largest listed primary silver producers and Altius Minerals Corp (TSE:ALS), a diversified royalty company based in St John, Newfoundland, Canada.
