Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade will be 'reimagined' as a TV-only event

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade will go on this year, albeit in a “reimagined” form without crowds or balloon wranglers. The 94th annual parade will shift to a television-only event while still showcasing the signature mix of giant character helium balloons, floats, street performers, clowns and, of course, the arrival of Santa Claus.
