Walkabout Resources non-executive director Michael Elliott buys shares on-market

Walkabout Resources Ltd (ASX:WKT) non-executive director Michael Elliott has acquired 300,000 shares worth $40,500 from the market on June 30, 2020. Elliott’s total holding in the company has now increased to 14.3 million shares. Gold project in Scotland The company today confirmed the presence of gold-bearing veins at Glenhead Gold Project in Scotland with rock chip samples returning grades of up to 12.8 g/t. This sampling is part of low-impact exploration conducted over the company’s landholding in southwest Scotland as part of a farm-In to earn 75% of three exploration licences in the region. The work resulted in the Glenhead prospect being identified early on as one of the priority targets in the area for further detailed follow-up analysis. New gold project in Tanzania Earlier this month, Walkabout secured exploration tenure over a highly prospective, underexplored gold region at the Amani Gold Project in southwest Tanzania. The project has been a focus for exploration since 2016 when new geological mapping and fieldwork confirmed the hard rock gold potential of the area.
