Qantas' final 747 flight touches down in Los Angeles

Qantas' final Boeing 747 flight touched down at LAX airport in Los Angeles. QF7474 took off from Sydney at 2pm local and landed in the US at 1.23pm local, marking an end to five decades of use by the Australian aviation company. The jumbo jet will fly from LAX to Mojave, California, where it will be put into storage. The final flight was brought forward six months, after the airline decided to prematurely retire its fleet due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the aviation industry.
