Former US president Barack Obama has said that the Democrats should bring young leaders like AOC into the limelight, instead of focusing on older established members of the party. Mr Obama was speaking about his new book in an interview on Snapchat, and also suggested that campaigns like 'defund the police' would benefit from dropping the slogan and focusing on the points of the campaign to appeal to more Americans.
