Appeal Following Serious Road Traffic Collision, Wakefield

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Wakefield.  

It happened at about 11am on Saturday, 11 May when a red and white Honda motorbike was in collision with a blue Mazda car at the junction of the A637 Bar Lane and Top Lane at Midgley.

The motorbike rider, a 58-year-old man from Barnsley, was taken to hospital where his condition is said to be life-threatening at this time.
