India, Russia hold talks on Afghanistan ahead of UN meet in Doha

India and Russia discussed Afghanistan security and humanitarian assistance. Russian special envoy Zamir Kabulov and MEA joint secretary J P Singh met to address the current situation in Kabul. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized the need for development assistance for Afghan welfare, exchanging views on interactions with the Taliban.
