Google founder's flying car project dumps one model, doubles down on another

Kitty Hawk Corp., the flying car startup launched in 2010 by Larry Page and Sebastian Thrun, said Wednesday it is winding down one project while doubling down on another. The 250-pound ultralight Flyer, which was unveiled in 2017, is going away and, according to TechCrunch, so are 70 jobs of people working on it at the Mountain View company.
