Former hockey player adopts 22 underprivileged girls in Haryana

A former Indian hockey player from Haryana has set an example for others by adopting 22 village girls in Rohtak.

Ajit Nandal, who also has a daughter of his own, is providing free education and bearing all expenses of the adopted girls from Bohar village.

Moreover, Nandal has opened doors of opportunities for these girls by providing them sports training, like polo, horse riding among other sports.

Working for the betterment of underprivileged girls, Nandal expressed his sadness over the heinous Hathras case, in which a Dalit girl was brutally thrashed and allegedly gangraped by four men and later died.
