"I began thinking more creatively about guitars and building my own.

I had seen the fantastic Justin Johnson on his spade guitar, so decided to see if I could give him a run for his money!", said Wainman.

After putting together a guitar, Wainman says that this got the cogs turning, and he thought he would go on to transform a tennis racquet as well.

Wainman added: "Someone had joked about using other objects like a cricket bat or a skateboard and I thought - why not?!" The idea developed into a longboard and had components that weren't in his original plan, but it turned out better than Wainman expected.

"It has such a raw sound which I was really happy with," said Wainman.

"Just need to learn to ride the longboard now!"
