More than 50,000 Spanish flags were placed in a park in Madrid over the weekend to honor those who have died from COVID-19 in Spain.

Local media reports an association of families of coronavirus victims put up the memorial to represent the more than 31,000 confirmed deaths and others who may not have been identified as dying from COVID-19.
