Valerie high school football here in kentucky just started back up again less than two weeks ago two games each are facing yet another delay to their season.

According to henderson county school officials playing a home game against central hardin high school the henderson county high school football team was notified of a central hardin player who tested positive for covid-19.

At the recommendatio n of the green river district health department henderson county players who are considered to have come into close contact with the hardin county player will be placed on quarantine.

Officials say the district is working closely with the health department to provide necessary information to help with contact tracing.

Now this means henderson county game against madisonville on friday has been canceled the district says was made out of an abundance of caution.

Every central hardin player who traveled to henderson last week has been placed on quarantine.
