Commissioners held emergency meeting Sunday night

Commissioners of the power five college football conferences held an emergency meeting tonight to discuss if the upcoming fall sports seasons can be played because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Sources have indicated to e-s-p-n that following a meeting on saturday, big ten conference presidents are ready to cancel or postpone its fall sports season and wanted to see if comimissioners from the other power five conferences, the big 12, pac-12, s-e-c and a-c-c which the syracuse orange are a member of, are willing to do the same.

-- sources say that big ten presidents met tonight and presidents and chancellors of the pac-12 universities are scheduled to meet on tuesday.

-- one power five athletic director said, "it doesn't look good."

-- sources also say the a-c-c, big-12 and s-e-c have wanted to wait to see what happened after thousands of students returned to campus this month, but they might be forced to act if the big ten or pac-12 make a decision this week.
