As schools are starting back up, Limestone County is having to enact a response to positive coronavirus cases.

Dr. heath says that both the student and the staff member are quarantined for 14 days and have to be symptom-free before returning to school.

He says that, according to the district's coroanvirus plan, everyone who was in contact with the two is also in quarantine for 14 days starting with the most recent contact.

Close contact means anyone who was within six feet of either person for more than 10 minutes.

He added that the conducted a deep cleaning of the school, which is done on a weekly basis.

They are planning to be open again to students and staff on monday.

Dr. heath says he has leadership meetings daily with his staff and some regional superintendent s and says they will study this and see if any additional changes need to be made to the plan.
