Yesterday afternoon on July 22, an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 777-200F cargo plane caught fire on the ground at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

The video shows the fire was quite fierce and the fuselage of the aircraft had been burned through.

It’s reported that the Ethiopian Airlines cargo plane's flight number is ET3739.

It was originally scheduled to take off from Shanghai Pudong Airport at 16:51 Beijing time, and the destination was Addis Ababa Bole Airport.

Affected by the fire incident, a number of scheduled flights to Shanghai Pudong are currently scheduled to drop to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, including MU5008 Taipei Taoyuan-Shanghai Pudong, CA4420 Chongqing-Lhasa, HO1140 Changzhi-Shanghai Pudong, etc.

The cause of the blaze remains unknown and is under investigation.
