Began negotiating possible incentives with a Texas county to bring a new auto assembly plant near Austin.
The Austin American-Statesman said Travis County Commissioners Court will discuss terms of the deal this week.
If the county is picked, the plant would focus on Tesla’s pickup truck and Model Y SUV.
While discussions were confirmed by the local paper, it was not clear whether Texas was picked or if Tesla is still considering Oklahoma.
