The two also got to know each other during the 2020 Democratic primary.
Klobuchar argued against overly progressive proposals like “Medicare for all.” The Minnesota senator was officially approached by Biden’s camp in May, according to CBS News.
She has been undergoing the rigorous vetting process since.
Given recent questions about her criminal justice record during her tenure as a prosecutor Klobuchar is a longshot for the job.
