Jacob Voss from Edelman on behalf of Cochlear Limited told Reuters Liv was among the youngest babies to get a cochlear implant after the qualification age was lowered from 12 months to 9 months in March.

The video shows the moment Liv responded to the voice of her mother, Marni, who asked for her family name to be withheld.
